SOLANGE BRIDGE-S

illustrator 2019 I have a big appreciation for promotional work and the branch off from an albums aesthetic that’s capable of being carried out from the initial release. With this poster, I took the editing style of Solange’s When I Get Home album, and expanded on the original neutral coloured illustrations and made something vibrant, colourful, a little more wild, yet staying true to the album era and all of it’s entities. I hold this piece close to my heart because it took me out of my comfort zone and let me branch off into my current deconstructed, confusing, obvious and crazy style that I often use in a lot of my work.
